For me UX is what justifies every design decision. Its about going in deep into the mechanics of the task, deconstructing everything, tinkering and getting to know all the elements. Taking complete ownership of the product. Personally I would say what makes a good UX designer is curiosity, tenacity, endless initiative and willing to always learn, while keeping a humble spirit.
My interpretation of UI is where technical skill meets art to then give birth to a user experience good enough to not just bring back users, but to be shared with pride to the rest of the world.
